Fenton Upward Basketball

Leading Children to Christ through Sports

Welcome to Another Season of Upward Basketball!

Fenton United Methodist is happy to host the 14th year of Upward basketball in the Fenton area.  The 1st-4th Grade program has a new set of Directors this year! However, you'll see many of the same faces throughout the program but we can always use more help.  Prayerfully consider how you can help us by volunteering in some aspect of the program.  Whether it is coaching, refereeing, concessions, setup, cleanup, etc., we can certainly use your help.  Send us a note by email at fentonupward@gmail.com or by contacting us through the website.

Practice is cancelled tonight, Thursday, March 12, and the games are cancelled for Saturday.  Coaches will be picking the basketballs up that are to be given to each player between 9:00 am and noon on Saturday.  They will make arrangements to get them to each player.

More information on our league can be found through the links above.  If you are interested in the 5th through 12th Grade league, head on over to Linden Free Methodist(LFM) website for more information.

Want to Coach Your Childs Team?  If you are new and are interested in coaching, we'll want you to review what it means to be a coach for Upward and the Upward philosophy.  It is imperative that all of our coaches follow the program as intended so the Upward experience is the same for all children in practices and games.  It is very rewarding and does not require basketball experience.  There are plenty of resources that will walk you through each step to be a coach so don't worry!  Please take the time to contact us by the contact us page or email to be a coach.  You will be required to fill out a form at evaluations, undergo a background check, and attend a coaches meeting prior to being accepted as a coach.
